Yesterday on my status update, I wrote "Calling all small and extra-small girls and women. We're working on an art shirt just for you." This was followed by a hyperlink to this page, the first line of which says: "Until now we have offered our Art Shirt in a unisex style, with the smallest size being unisex small. But so many women have contacted us asking about shirts designed specifically for women, in small sizes, that we are considering doing a run of Small and Extra-Small sheer women's tees, in color Black." Because the MySpace status update is limited to 140 characters (the original post has this limitation; replies to it don't), it is necessary to keep it short and sweet. Unfortunately, some people only read the status comment, did not follow through to the link, and jumped to the conclusion that we were only making shirts for sizes 0-2, and excluding every other woman on the planet.
Here are a few of the comments I received: When I posted the original comment, I did not foresee that it would be misconstrued, and that so many would not read the full story. So this is just to set the record straight: We make unisex, slim fit art shirts from sizes S to XXL using American Apparel blanks, and sell them in our shop -- with free shipping worldwide, so we don't discriminate by nationality either! :-) The new shirts will be specifically for petite sizes, for whom our current sizes are too large. Okay, that should clear it up! I love love love you ALL equally! On a side note, we have discovered that manufacturers are actively discontinuing XS sizes (size 0), but we were able to find the model you see above in XS, so we are doing our small part to help keep XS women clothed in high style without paying a fortune for it :-)
Cheers!
